Serving within the Church
Worship and Hospitality
Greeters - Welcome people as they arrive for worship, help them find seats, distribute bulletins, and create a friendly atmosphere.
Hospitality Team – Serve coffee & refreshments after services or host fellowship gatherings.
Worship Volunteers – Assist with elements of the service (e.g., altar team, lay readers, ushers, slide/sound operators).
Children and Youth Ministries
Children’s Church Leaders - teach age-appropriate Bible lessons and activities for children during worship.
Nursery Volunteers – Care for infants and toddlers during worship.
Music and Tech
Choir and Music Leaders - Lead or assist with music during worship, choir practices, or special services.
AV/Tech Support – Operate sound, projection, or livestream systems for worship.
Administrative and Support
Office Helpers - Assist with bulletin preparation, phones, mailings, or data entry.
Small Group Leaders – Lead or host Bible studies, prayer groups, or fellowship circles.

Local Partnerships and Outreach
Elmont Community Food Pantry - We partner with First Baptist of Elmont for this important outreach program. Food distribution is every Saturday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. For more information, visit our Food Pantry page.
